Sweetcorn Tasty Early Bird

■ A delicious extra sweet corn that can be eaten both raw and cooked.
■ Also suitable for slightly colder weather conditions.
■ Preferably sow locally in rows.
■ Sweetcorn likes higher temperatures, so do not sow outside before mid-May.
■ The soil temperature should also be at least 10ºC.
■ Maize is a wind pollinator, so not 1 long line, but then better 2 shorter lines side by side.
■ Maize is ripe when the tassel darkens and dries out.
