Swiss chard Lucullus is especially suitable for growing leaves and ribs. If you do not harvest the young leaves and petioles, you can eat the stems (ribs) from the mature plants. These can be prepared in the same way as asparagus. This well-known vegetable was particularly widely eaten in the past. Especially tasty and healthy. Contains various minerals, but especially sodium and calcium. Sow in rows 20-25 cm apart, then thin lightly to around 5 cm on piece. Is susceptible to "bolting".
