■ Ramenas Minowase Summercross F1 is an elongated white radish also called Rettich or Daikon.
■ Suitable for summer cultivation.
■ The roots have a rather pungent flavour and can be eaten raw as a snack or e.g. as a sandwich filling.
■ Is also an excellent sprout vegetable.
■ Contains many different minerals, such as calcium, phosphorus, potassium and vitamins B and C.
■ Before winter storage turn off the foliage, do not cut it off.
■ Sow thinly in rows. No tuber formation if too dense.
■ Loosen the soil well and do not over-fertilise.
