■ A very well-known, old and proven Italian breed from 1880.
■ A medium-late variety with a fairly long harvest window.
■ Is harvestable about 60 days after transplanting.
■ Sow preferably in a greenhouse directly in pots or first in a planting bed.
■ Keep soil moist.
■ Then plant out in good time in well-tilled/fertilised soil.
■ Protect young plants against cabbage midge and cabbage fly using anti-insect netting.
■ Growing in a different place every year.
■ Harvest when the flower buds are unopened.
