Gherkin Diamond F1 Eco
■ Diamond F1 is a parthenocarp (self-perpetuating) variety, which is resistant to powdery mildew and downy mildew, so harvest-secure.
■ Beautiful vigorous and compact plant, with nice dark green, smooth fruits.
■ Excellent variety for pickling and completely bitter-free.
■ Sow in a greenhouse in seed trays or directly in pots of approx. 8 cm with 2-3 seeds per pot.
■ After germination, keep 1 plant per pot.
■ Transplant after mid-May in a sheltered, sunny spot out of the wind, as soon as the plants have 2 true leaves.
■ Possibly grow up on wire.
